Welcome to VRAcademi, a place where learning takes on a new dimension through innovation and creativity. I am Aggelos, the Founder and inspirational force behind VRAcademi. The genesis of this pioneering initiative traces back to a personal challenge. In 2020, I was diagnosed with a chronic condition. I sought solace from the pain within the immersive world of VR headsets. This pivotal moment sparked the idea for VRAcademi.
During my journey in the hospital, VR became a portal to alternate realities. One such experience was “Chandrayaan”. The enchanting experience of exploring outer space. This virtual voyage to the moon, allowed me to break free from the confines of my surroundings.
This discovery sparked a strong wish not only to just use the technology but also to understand its details and explore ways and means of building such immersive experiences.
This is the origin story of VRAcademi, a testament to the conviction that technology serves as a source of empowerment and inspiration. Hi! I did my PhD research in AI at Imperial College London and hold MSC degrees from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi in City Design, Planning and Mobility Modelling. I am a visiting lecturer at Imperial College London.
Based out of London & Dubai, I am responsible for innovation, research and development within the company. Formerly worked with and lead research and innovation project teams at Porsche SE group, Worley’s and Mott MacDonald in the Middle East and in the UK before starting the VRAcademi.
I have over 25 years of global experience in managing, operating and delivering visualisation and infrastructure projects and in managing complex teams.

Hi! I am responsible for the delivery of curriculum and creative content at VRAcademi.
Based out of New Delhi, I am also the founding director of Sunovatech specialising in developing new technologies that assist and simplify the understanding of complex engineering solutions in Virtual Reality.
I have an in-depth knowledge of the Virtual Reality Industry, Engineering, Marketing and Human Behaviour in Technology and in creative 3D Design.
I also play a key academic role at the AutoDesk University in India. I am also the founding director of KlipVR Immersive Technologies, the ed-tech VR content creation partner of VRAcademi.

I am a Co-founder and COO of VRAcademi in Dubai. With a background in Transportation Systems Engineering, I completed my Masters at IIT Bombay, focusing on studying pedestrian characteristics using simulation algorithms. Previously, I served as a Business Development Manager at Sunovatech Group, overseeing projects in business development, research, and training across India, the Middle East, and South Asian countries.
